Consular
INFORMATION
ON VISA APPLICATION
General information
Since 1st May 2005, visitors with Danish, Norwegian,
Swedish and Finnish citizenship no longer need a visa for travels under 15 days.
Visa exemption functions
the following conditions:
-
Visit of less than 15 days.
-
The traveler’s
passport is valid for at least 90
days from entry day.
-
A valid return ticket/documentation for exit before 15 days from entry day.
For visits longer 14 days visa are still
demanded as normal.
The
Embassy can issue all kinds of visa (tourist, business, diplomat)
from one month up to 6 months; from single entry up to multiple
entries as required by the applicants.

To
apply for visa, the applicant can come to the Embassy by himself or
send by post:

One
application form with one photo (with all kind of visa).

Original
passport.

The
visa fee (check or cash only)

If
send by mail, send also an self-addressed
envelope with stamps.
The

fax or by post.

To get a visa, normally it
takes 4 days, including post.
If in need of an express visa phone the Embassy for details.
Please
check your visa when you receive or pick up. If there is anything wrong,
do not hesitate to contact the Embassy.
Business
Visa
Applicants
are requested to submit letter
of invitation or copy of visa approval provided by the
Vietnamese counterparts/sponsors.
Diplomatic
visa
Applicants are requested to submit verbal note of government 's
employer, ministries, agencies or organizations. Diplomatic,
consular or administrative staff to be accredited on Vietnam are
requested to indicate the person they are succeeding.
Holders of Diplomatic Passport in official mission are
exempted from visa fees.
